Most of our teachers (singles and couples) are in shared houses.
These are generally 4-5 bedrooms and two storeys.
You know, coming to another country, things are going to be different. You probably think there would be no point in traveling if the country you were visiting was the same as your own!
This is probably true of housing too. You will probably feel our houses and the rooms in them are quite small.
In England, you may feel repairs are done differently too. Although we respond to emergencies immediately, other repairs can take longer. A washing machine that is reported faulty on Friday for example is unlikely to be repaired over the weekend.
It is important to us that you have a clear and accurate expectation of everyday life in England. To give you some idea of what it is like, we have asked previous tenants from around the world to tell us of their experiences.
